How it Works:
The Trion HE Plus 2000 is designed to mount directly to the duct work in your heating and cooling system so that recirculated air passes through the cleaner. I bought this through Amazon and was quite pleased with the function and the cost over other whole house electrostatic units. The unit does exactly what it states and has been working dependably for about 3 months now. I used the automatic airflow detection instead of wiring it to my furnace and it does well with that. One note on that feature is that is uses a temperature differential to determine air flow. If the unit is the same temperature as the air, the filter will not turn on. This only applies when you are using your furnace in the fan only mode and only sometimes, but it is useful to not because you might think the unit is broken otherwise.
