I bought this product for my daughter so she could save on her oil bills. It worked great for about 3 weeks. She loved it. however after 3 weeks the unit started to beep and shut its self off. Every few seconds off and on, off and on, with the beep.. She called the number on the instruction book and was told she had 10 days to fill out the warranty card, she did not do this,( Because it was bought as a Christmas gift and did not receive it until two weeks after it was purchased.) so they told her there was nothing they would do for her. there was no way the warranty card could have been filled out after 10 days of purchase. Very disappointed Do not buy this product. I feel robbed, and ripped off. There is a defect in this product. the company should post a fix for this if there is one. I have noticed this happened to others.

Hello, I bought this product from retail store online with 90 days return to local store.THAT is why I bought this unit-because of return policy.Thank God I did as the remote feature would not work,as it COULD NOT WORK.There is a place on front cover to the right of Mode Lights for the electronic "eye".This recieves signals from the remote control.However there was no such "eye" or opening in metal for an electronic"eye"-only metal.You could feel the indentation under the metal,where there may have been an eye.However,no opening for it to work by.There was no quality control on the remote feature of this machine,as this flaw surely would have been caught.
